Modern Algos is a brain child of Mr Sanjay Kumar Baid, Mr Baid having visualized the current trading and investing patterns of Retail and HNI segments, who lack on an apt technology driven Research, promoted Modern Algos with an idea to create a robust technology driven Research system. MAE engages itself in developing various models and methods, which enables the retail users to access all the required inputs/data/analysis under one umbrella, through an able team of professionals coming from years of experience on Technology/ Development/Business Analytics/Business Development with hands on experience of deploying the models and methods with appropriate key execution skills. MAE is the SEBI registered Research Analyst.

Purpose

To create a technology driven dynamic research system, which cater to the needs of the ill- advised trading and investing community, be it Retail or an HNI segment and ultimately integrate the research technology with the end to end trading technology with a sole purpose of relative wealth creation to the client’s.

Sanjay Kumar BaidFounder – Modern Algos

Mr. Sanjay Kumar Baid, the visionary behind the Modern Algos startup, brings a remarkable set of qualifications and expertise to the team. With an M.COM (OU), an Ms in Finance (ISFS), a CFA (ICFAI), and a CMT (MTA) under his belt, he possesses over a decade of specialized knowledge in Capital Market and Analysis. Previously, Mr. Baid held the position of Managing Director at Aasmaa Securities Pvt Ltd, a broking firm that concluded operations in 2021. Additionally, he has gained invaluable experience working with CSC, a prominent American Multinational Corporation situated in Dallas, TX. Mr. Baid's profound understanding of technology, combined with his proficiency as a Quant, Technical, and Business Analyst, positions him as an invaluable asset. Leveraging his extensive expertise in capital markets, he devises effective trading strategies and seizes market opportunities across a wide range of asset classes, including Equity, Commodity, and Currencies. As a successful trader and strategist, he has developed numerous innovative market approaches, systems, and models to consistently generate favorable outcomes.

Anand Kumar JhawarDirector

Anand Kumar Jhawar has a rich experience of more than two decades in Capital and Commodity Markets. He is benign and generous with sound business principles. He mentors the team and is a vivid financial matters expert with dexterity in detail. He is passionate about broking and under his leadership, the organization is scaling up new heights. He is always on the quest of implementing innovation in the Investment processes. With commendable knowledge of broking and the overall functioning of Exchanges in India, he strives to establish a platform that is best suited for people of all generations to invest and wealth creation. He primarily looks after the Company’s finances and budgeting.

Nisha RathiDirector

Nisha Rathi is a graduate of Nagpur University with a specialization in commerce. She possesses a vast experience of more than a decade in Financial Markets in India. She is passionate about the functioning of Capital and Commodity markets. She has the know-how of investment techniques and processes and is actively engaged in exploring the new dynamics in investments. With her experience and understanding of the investment cycles of an individual, she is driving the team to reach out to prospects through Digital Marketing Channels.

Pradeep Kumar KhandelwalChief Managing Advisor

Mr. Pradeep Khandelwal, Founder & Promoter of R-Fintech a fintech algo prop trading company based out of Mumbai. He last served as Executive Director in Edelweiss Custody and was heading the Domestic Brokerage Group. Mr Khandelwal is having rich experience of more than ~28 years in various field viz, Compliance and Securities Market Laws, Legal, Secretarial, Banking, Finance, Fund Raising, lending, Private Equity Deals etc. apart from making strategy for the revenue growth. Mr Khandelwal has been instrumental in growth of the Globe Capital Group where he spent around two decades and lastly he served there as Head of Derivatives Clearing & Compliance.
Mr. Khandelwal, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and apart from holding a degree in Bachelor of Law (LL.B.)
Mr. Khandelwal also held various positions in the various committees of Govt of India/ CBDT /SEBI/Indian & Overseas Exchanges and their Clearing Houses. He also been in various committees of Industry Bodies viz, Member of Exchange Task Force Committee - PHD Chamber of Commerce, Executive Committee /Managing Committees/Stamp Duty Committee / Asia Federation of Investor Education (AFIE) Committee of Association of National Exchanges members of India (ANMI), Vice Chairman/Convenor of Membership/Convention Committee of Commodities Participants Association of India (CPAI), Board Member – BSE Broker Forum (BBF).
Mr Khandelwal also served as Member of Copper Advisory Group of Dubai Gold & Commodity Exchange (DGCX) and Member – Risk Management Committee of India International Exchange (INX -Gift City) apart from was a Member of Sub-Group on CRS under Automatic Exchange of Information, Dept. of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Govt of India.
Lastly he served as an member of Advisory Committee of Metropolitan Clearing Corporation.

T.N.S. Ranjith KumarChief Technology Officer

Ranjith heads the programming and technology part of Modern Algos. He worked with Northgate Technologies Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer where he developed and deployed VOIP-based products and later for more than a decade has worked with Stampede Capital Ltd as a Project Leader – ATS (Automatic Trading System). He brings along a rich experience in software development, ORMS, and client implementations with technical solutions. Worked along with various quant and derivative software developers who were deeply involved in the automated electronic trading space and also in monitoring anomalous events in the market. He has varied experience in designing, developing, and implementing ATS systems and applications for the automatic trading of complex derivatives. He is adept in programming trading models and their design. His hands-on experience in understanding the markets and solutions to the logical ends of programming keeps him ahead of his peers in the Industry. He is among the very few in the advisory industry who understand the complex world of trading and its programming and holds live and tested experience in the domain of trading on exchanges.

Meha AgarwalChief Product Officer

Meha is an MSc in Finance from St. Francis College. She handles the implementation and execution of portfolios and strategies. Working with Developers and Designers to implement, document, validate and monitor various plans.
